Frequently asked questions
What ages does Soro Futbol Academy train?
Programs span from young beginners through competitive high-school-age players — Private Training flexes to any age or level, and Group Training places players by experience across four tiers, from Pre-Academy through Platinum.
Do I need club experience to start?
No. Private Training and Pre-Academy-level Group Training are both built for players just starting their competitive journey — no prior club experience required.
What's the difference between Private and Group Training?
Private Training is 1-on-1, built around your player's specific goals, and booked directly on Coach Ray's calendar. Group Training is small-group (3–5 players) technical training, starting with a free trial before enrolling in an ongoing class.
Where are sessions held?
All training happens at North County Soccer Park in Poway, CA — the same facility that hosts SISL and the broader North County Soccer Park community.
How do I get started?
Book a Private Training session directly, request a Group Training free trial, or ask Coach Ray a question first if you're not sure which path fits — no pricing is posted online, so every path starts with a conversation.
