Soro SMS Terms
We run two separate text message programs. Consenting to one is not consenting to the other, and neither is ever a condition of training with us.

1. Our Two Text Message Programs
Soro Futbol Academy operates two distinct text messaging programs, and each one has its own consent checkbox on our forms.
Non-marketing texts
Texts about the specific request you submitted: scheduling, availability, session confirmations, reminders, and replies to a question you asked us.
Marketing texts
Texts about offers, discounts, new programs, camps, and clinics.
Consent to one program is not consent to the other. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchase, of enrollment, or of training with us. You can submit any form on our site, book any session, and enroll in any program without agreeing to receive a single text message.
2. How You Opt In
You opt in by giving us your mobile number and checking the relevant consent box on one of our forms. The forms that offer text message consent are our Private Training availability request, our Group Training free trial request, and our Ask Coach Ray question form.
Each of those forms has two separate checkboxes, one per program. Checking neither is a perfectly normal choice, and we will still reply to you by email or phone according to the contact preference you gave us.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. It depends on which program you joined and on what is happening with your request. A trial request usually means a short burst of messages around scheduling, then nothing. Marketing messages are occasional. We aim to keep messaging useful and infrequent.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Those charges come from your wireless carrier, not from us, and they depend on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure what a message costs you.
5. How You Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message from us. You can also email [email protected] or call (858) 610-1661 and ask us to stop.
Because the two programs are separate, opting out of one does not opt you out of the other. Stopping marketing messages does not stop messages about a request you separately consented to, and stopping those does not stop marketing messages. Tell us if you want out of both and we will remove you from both.

7. Your Number and Your Privacy
Mobile phone numbers and text message consent are never shared with, or sold to, third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Your number is handled by the messaging platform that delivers our texts, and it is used to send you the messages you asked for. Nothing else. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the rest of the information you give us, including information about a player.
8. Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier's network and on your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives.
9. Eligibility and Your Responsibilities
You must be 18 years or older to consent to receive text messages from us.
You must also be the account holder for the mobile number you give us, or have the account holder's permission to use it. If you give us a number that later stops being yours, tell us so we can stop messaging it.
Our text programs are for parents and guardians. We do not send text messages to players under 18.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
